Social Media Coordinator
Can be Remote but we preferred someone local in Overland Park, KS who can work hybrid
12 Months Contract with possibility to get extended
Max of 32 hours a week, Mondays - Fridays with flexibility on days and hours based on 32hr work week. 9-5pm CT, flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
● Responsible for end-to-end social media ticketing processes for professional content in Smartsheet, ensuring that content tickets for are created and approved in a timely manner.
● Supports the ticketing processes for pet-parents in tandem with the agency to ensure tickets are routed to the right stakeholders and approved in a timely manner.
● Closely works with both internal and external stakeholders for content approvals and ensures that required content goes through appropriate Claims Risk review processes.
● Supports the Content Manager on the intake process for new content requests for quarterly content planning
● Supports setting up quarterly Strategic Alignment Meetings (SAMs) & monthly Content Kickoff meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
● Supports video production processes:
○ Reviews scripts and obtains appropriate approval from internal stakeholders
○ Manages organization of internal talent for video shoots, ensures rooms/ locations are booked and scripts are printed prior to filming.
○ Manages organization of external stakeholders (ie Clinic partners and Shelter partners) for upcoming shoots.
○ Supports the production of shoot timelines in conjunction with agency partners.
○ Coordinates the development of community responses based on shoot scripts and video concepts
○ Attends and oversees shoots per production plans.
● Supports the Social Media Ecosystem Manager on keeping the pet-parent and professional social media calendars up-to-date and shared with stakeholders.
● Supports the Social Media Ecosystem Manager on briefing and ticketing of new in-the-moment concepts.
● Supports the Social Media Ecosystem Manager on process documentation.
Required Qualifications:
● 2-4 years in social media marketing or related field.
● Deep understanding of social media channels and video formats per platform
● Proven experience in end-to-end video production for social media.
● Strong script-writing skills.
● Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:
● Knowledge of social media management tools (ie Emplifi)
● Experience using Smartsheets and Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Forms etc.
