Job Description

Job Title: Media Manager

  • Assignment (1.5 months)
  • Start date: July 14th
  • End Date: August 29th

Payrate starts at $43/hr

Interview Process:

  • Zoom Video Interview: 35 minutes with Hiring Manager
  • 2nd video Zoom: 30 minutes
  • Onsite/zoom: Senior Director

Overview:

In close collaboration with the Marketing & Media team, this role will lead external agency partners in developing and executing comprehensive paid media campaigns—including search, social, display, online video (OLV), linear TV, and audio—with the objective of generating demand, capturing qualified leads, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and optimize integrated multi-channel media strategies across digital and traditional platforms to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to design quarterly media plans that enhance budget efficiency and operational performance.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) in coordination with Media & Analytics teams, monitor campaign performance, and deliver actionable insights and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Oversee media budgets, including monthly/annual planning, forecasting, and reconciliation for assigned channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Operations, to align media execution with data infrastructure and AdTech solutions (e.g., CDP, LiveRamp, API integrations).
  • Manage and mentor the Paid Media Analyst to ensure timely optimizations, accurate performance tracking, and strategic investment decisions.
  • Negotiate media buys and budgets in partnership with the agency as needed.
  • Perform additional media-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in media planning and execution across digital and traditional channels.
  • Background in the travel or cruise industry and international marketing is a strong plus.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering ROI-driven media campaigns across paid search, social, display, TV, and radio.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Effective team leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence internal and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to brief senior leadership.
  • Highly organized, with proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
