Are you a detail-oriented tax professional looking to make a difference? We're seeking a Tax Accountant to play a key role in ensuring compliance with international, federal, state, and local tax laws while strategically minimizing tax burdens through research, planning, and innovation. In this role, you'll manage, monitor, track, and report on various income and payroll tax compliance obligations, helping to keep our organization running smoothly.
## What You'll Do
As a Tax Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing international, federal, state, and local income and payroll tax returns.
- Assisting with interim and year-end tax provisions.
- Conducting account analyses and reconciliations.
- Calculating tax estimates and apportionments.
- Supporting jurisdictional audit defense with proper documentation.
- Conducting tax research and identifying potential credits and incentives.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Corporate Tax, Accounting, Legal, and Real Estate to gather necessary information.
- Assisting with special projects as needed.
Your role will involve working closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting while staying up to date with evolving tax regulations.
## What We're Looking For
### Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting OR
- 2+ years of tax and/or accounting experience (public or private)
- A Master's in Accounting or Tax may substitute for experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, and Word)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines
### Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience preparing corporate income and payroll tax returns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Experience with CorpTax is a plus

Compensation: $59,800 - $99,900 annually (Final pay may vary based on experience, location, and qualifications).
