Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, coupled with analytical skills to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. This role is essential in providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency, cost control, and business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to support strategic planning
• Partner with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment of actuals vs. forecast
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and business opportunities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal stakeholders and executive leadership
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Support ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling for business initiatives and capital projects
• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to various departments (e.g., production, sales, supply chain)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy

Required Skills And Abilities

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with ERP systems; QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Must have the ability to work in the United States without visa or sponsorship

Education Background and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA is a plus
• 3+ years previous experience in an accounting role, with at least 1-2 years in financial planning and analysis preferred.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Physical Demands (To include but not limited to)

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation.
• Occasional standing or walking within the office or shop, such as attending meetings, retrieving documents, or interacting with customers or employees.
• Occasionally lifting and carrying items, typically weighing up to 10-20 pounds.
• Frequent use of fingers and hands for typing, writing, and operating a computer.
• Using telephones, printers, copiers, and other office tools.
• Frequent need to focus on printed or digital material.
• Reviewing financial documents, schedules, or customer data with accuracy.
• Regular communication with customers, vendors, and team members, either in person, on the phone, or via video conferencing.
• Engaging with customers in person or over the phone, sometimes requiring extended periods of active listening and problem-solving.
• Prolonged exposure to hot or cold temperatures.
• Mild noise from office machines or nearby shop areas if the office is adjacent to the workshop. PPE may be required while walking through the shop.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle.
