**Overview** GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled ETL Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in transforming data into structured formats and loading it into target databases or data warehouses to support business intelligence and decision-making processes. This position will be fully remote located within the United States. **Please note** : The contract has been awarded; however, this position remains unfunded and is contingent upon funding release. **Responsibilities** + Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently. + Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across various platforms. + Optimize database performance and troubleshoot ETL-related issues. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions. + Maintain documentation for ETL workflows, data mappings, and system configurations. **Qualifications** **Required Skills and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in computer science, InformationTechnology or a related field. + 12+ yearsof relevant experience, or equivalent professional expertise. + Proven experience in ETL development, data integration, and database management. + Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages. **Preferred Skills and Experience:** + Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud-based solutions. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Clearance Required:** Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance. **Company Overview** GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. **Posted Salary Range** USD $150,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
