Job Description

Greenwich, Connecticut-based commercial real estate owner/operator/developer and full-service property management company is seeking a real estate professional to join our growing team. This position will support the leasing, property management, and acquisition teams in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Engage with third-party brokers and tenant prospects to discuss leasing interest.
2. Prepare and negotiate letters of intent for new lease transactions.
3. Work with outside counsel in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing leases.
4. Draft lease amendments related to extensions, renewals, and modifications.
5. Liaise with tenants on lease assignment requests and negotiations.
6. Develop and maintain positive tenant relationships.
7. Collaborate with property management to track lease milestones.
8. Conduct lease reviews and prepare estoppels for acquisition due diligence.
9. Research lease clauses to resolve tenant issues.
10. Complete CAM/RET/INS reconciliations in Excel and respond to tenant inquiries thoughtfully.
11. Participate in the annual budget process.
12. Track lease deal flow and negotiation status.
13. Manage AR staff’s accurate entry of receivables.
14. Facilitate collection and review of tenant Certificates of Insurance using a third-party compliance platform.

Qualifications:

• Self-starter with strong organizational, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive team player capable of working independently.
• Strategic thinker and multi-tasker.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); experience with Yardi and/or MRI preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ commercial real estate leasing experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues, ownership, outside counsel, brokers, and tenants.

Compensation: Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
