Your Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering clinical excellence. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Clinical Excellence:
  • Perform procedures ensuring accurate and complete examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Exhibit competency in CT and radiographic procedures.
  • Adapt routines based on patient conditions or radiologist requests.
  • Assist radiologists with invasive procedures and maintain sterile environments.
  • Document pre and post-procedure information accurately.
  • Follow JCAHO patient safety goals and maintain quality care.
  • Conduct patient bedside lab testing in compliance with hospital policies.
• Quality Improvement:
  • Maintain a working knowledge of CT and diagnostic radiology equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and ensure equipment safety and maintenance.
  • Process images and paperwork promptly for timely reporting.
  • Coordinate patient flow for efficient care and transport patients as needed.
• Departmental Support:
  • Train fellow technologists and students, promoting a productive learning environment.
  • Conserve resources and prevent waste while completing care tasks.
  • Utilize downtime to enhance the work area and take on additional assignments.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Certifications:
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (Illinois Emergency Management Agency)
  • Registered in Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year - ARRT
• Education:
  • Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Experience: Relevant experience in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $31.03 - $53.37 per hour . This range reflects our commitment to fair compensation based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our team members.
