Are you a licensed clinical psychologist looking to use your skills in a collaborative, mission-driven preschool setting? ACDS Westchester is seeking a NYS Licensed Clinical Psychologist to support young children with developmental disabilities through behavior support, counseling, classroom consultation, and psychological evaluations. ACDS provides lifelong services to individuals with Down syndrome, Autism, and other developmental disabilities. Our Westchester location in Scarsdale serves preschool students ages 3–5 with speech/language impairments, cognitive delays, behavioral needs, and other developmental challenges. Classrooms follow 8:1:2 and 12:1:2 staffing models to support individualized attention and progress.

*Your Role*
As a Clinical Psychologist at ACDS Westchester, you'll work closely with the *Principal’s Office, Educational Supervisors, and Clinical Team* to support classroom success and student well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting *psychological evaluations* for preschool-aged students referred by CPSE
* Writing thorough and timely *evaluation reports*
* Meeting with *families and school districts* to discuss findings and support plans
* Providing *individual and group counseling* to students as needed
* Designing and monitoring *behavior intervention plans (BIPs)*
* Offering *in-classroom support*, coaching, and consultation for behavior management
* Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP/CPSE meetings
* Ensuring compliance with documentation and procedures set by *DOE, OCFS, DOH*, and ACDS protocols
*What We’re Looking For*
The ideal candidate brings both clinical expertise and a collaborative spirit. Requirements include:
* Doctorate in Clinical or School Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
* NYS Licensure as a Psychologist (required)
* Experience working with children with developmental disabilities (preschool preferred)
* Expertise in behavior management and early childhood development
* Familiarity with CPSE processes, IEPs, and DOE reporting systems
* Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
